Capsule is an end-to-end encrypted photo and media library. No release has been published yet, so today you build from source (Local Development) and use the capsule command line.

What works today, with the CLI:

  • Create a local encrypted library and import files into it, including a Google Photos export.
  • Register and sign in to a server, push your library to it, and sync it back down.
  • Create and revoke share links.

You can run your own server (Self Hosting). For a public instance, react to discussion #81.
